1. Not financial advice

Student Loan Refinance Calculator provides educational information and estimates. It does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no relationship of adviser and client is created by using it. Singh is not a licensed financial advisor.

Nothing here is a recommendation to take or avoid any particular loan, plan or lender. Where the tool reports a conclusion, it reports what the numbers you entered imply, and only that.

2. Estimates have limits

All figures are projections built from the information you type in and from published federal rules as we understand them on the date shown on each page. They will not match your servicer's records exactly, and they are not a promise about what will happen.

Projections depend on assumptions that will not hold perfectly:

• Income growth is modelled as a single steady rate. Real incomes step, stall and fall.
• Variable rates are held flat for the whole term. Real variable rates move.
• Tax is applied at a marginal rate you supply rather than by modelling brackets.
• Every payment is assumed to be made on time.
• Federal rules can change, and several relevant ones are in litigation.

3. Verify before you act

Refinancing federal loans into a private loan is permanent and cannot be reversed. Before acting on anything here, confirm your actual balances, payment counts, plan eligibility and forgiveness progress with your loan servicer, and consider taking advice from a qualified professional. Your servicer holds your records. This site does not.

4. No warranty

This site is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. Reasonable care is taken and errors are corrected when found, but no guarantee of accuracy is given.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Singh and Student Loan Refinance Calculator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site, including any financial decision taken in reliance on an estimate produced here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

6. Partner links

This site carries no lender links today. Where any appear, they are paid partner links and may earn a commission, and this is disclosed wherever they appear. Partner links are never shown on a result where the numbers point away from refinancing, and commercial relationships never change what the calculator computes. Any lender you reach through such a link is a separate business, and their products, terms, decisions and conduct are their own. Their terms govern their products, not these.

7. Third-party sites

Links to government pages, regulations and other sites are provided for verification. Those sites are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content.

8. Acceptable use

You may use this site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, and you may quote from it with attribution and a link. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not republish the calculator or its content as your own.

9. Changes

These terms may change. The last-reviewed date at the top of this page shows when they last did. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.
